What Makes Our Farm Park So Special?

  • We’re a working farm, and our animals live in large paddocks, in their natural flocks and herds. They are happy and well-cared for, so they are really fun to meet!
  • We always have babies being born, and no matter what time of year you visit, you will see new arrivals.
  • We are blessed with a wild and beautiful landscape, with stunning views and are surrounded by bush-clad hills.
  • There’s something for everyone! All age groups enjoy the farm.
Our farm invites visitors to explore, relax, and enjoy a sense of freedom and discovery. It is the perfect place for children to run, learn and connect with nature, while parents relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. We believe that staying safe around animals requires a blend of confidence, calmness, and respect. These qualities grow through positive, well-supervised experiences and learning. At Bullswool Farm, children can spend time with our friendly farm animals and enjoy real hands-on interaction in a safe environment. Our custom-made scoops and feeding stations let even very young children safely feed and engage with our even our biggest animals.

Frequently Asked Questions

We’re happy to answer all questions about our farm!

If you can’t find the answer to your question, please feel free to use the contact form here or give us a call–we would love to hear from you.

Many wheelchair users visit the farm, and we get good feedback from them. Our main animal area and all of the museums are accessible. However, the amount of mobility depends heavily on the wheelchair. Motorised ones can usually make it to our lookout, whereas pushed ones usually can’t, unless there’s a fair bit of strength available. The farm is pram-friendly. Our Native Bird Reserve track has many stairs and is therefore unsuitable for prams and wheelchairs.
As much as we love dogs, unfortunately, they are not allowed on the farm, and must remain outside or stay in your car for the duration of your visit. Shady parking spots are sometimes available, but please do not bring your dog to the farm on hot days.
There is no charge for visitors with very limited mobility.
The farm has a lot to see and do, and generally, there’s something for everyone. If you are the sort of person who would enjoy visiting a zoo or a museum, chances are you will love to spend a day at our farm.
Absolutely! Visitors are very welcome to bring a picnic and spend time at one of our several peaceful picnic areas. It’s the perfect way to take a break, soak up the stunning rural surroundings, and make your day at Bullswool Farm Park even more relaxing and memorable.
