Teaching Preschoolers Lifeskills since 2004

We believe that staying safe around animals requires a blend of confidence, calmness, and respect. These qualities grow through positive, well-supervised experiences and learning. At Bullswool Farm, children can spend time with our friendly farm animals and enjoy real hands-on interaction in a safe environment. Our custom-made scoops and feeding stations let even very young children safely feed and engage with our even our biggest animals.

Coromandel Kindergarten Farm Trip

Early childhood farm visits are fun, relaxed and very hands-on. We believe that to be safe around animals, one needs a mixture of confidence, respect, and calm. These things can only develop with well-managed contact and education. At Bullswool Farm, children can get close to our gentle farm animals and have genuine contact with them while still being safe. Specially designed scoops and feeding stations enable even the smallest children to safely feed and interact with even the largest of our animals.

Our Play Paddocks encourage creative and imaginative play, offering a space where younger children can run, explore and play among the farm surroundings. Preschool groups can also explore our Heritage Museumss and step inside our working Sheep Shed. With so much to see and explore, the farm has plenty to engage and delight children of all ages, and offers an unforgettable rural adventure. Our farm is set up to host well-structured visits, risk-management resources, and pre-visit teaching materials to make organising an ECE trip smooth and educational. For older primary and secondary school students, please visit our School Group Visit page.
